E as práticas de Inglês continuam! Hoje tem mais vocabulário e expressões que não podem ser deixadas de lado pois no dia-a-dia do mundo dos negócios essas expressões aparecem e não cabe momento para responder: -"Could you explain to me what you are exactly talking about?" X)
- Account: conta; conta corrente; fatura; valor; cálculo;
- Reps: repetições;
- Programme: programa; programar; planejar; programatizar;
- Timetable: horário; calendário;
- Purchase: compra; aquisição; valor; influencia; vantagem; coisa comprada; rendimento anual;
- Purchase: comprar; adquirir; obter; conseguir;
- Sales reps: representantes de vendas;
Vamos para o momento avançado da postagem de hoje:
- Personnel: related to the staff, workforce, employees...
- Pay rise: an increase in the salary.
- Assembly line: mechanical system in a factory whereby an article is conveyed through sites at which successive operations are performed on it.
- Conveyor belt: the surface on which goods flow during the production process.
- Lay: not technical, maybe based on common sense.
- Figure: information in form of numbers.
- Conference delegate: who attends conferences.
- Venue: place or location, esp. for meetings and conferences.
- Downturn: When business or economic activity changes to an inferior state.
- To draw up: to give value to a piece of paper by writing down on it.
- To split into: to divide in a way it can go back to the original form.
- To split up: to divide in a way it cannot go back.
- To get on/along: to have a good relationship, to deal with.
- Sales target: the amount of sales a company intends to reach.
